I. How to Export Dynamic Residential
Proxies in the IPWEB User Dashboard?
After logging into the IPWEB user
dashboard, click on "Dynamic Residential Proxies" on the left side.
You will see the content as shown in the image above. On this page, you can
generate complete proxy information. The specific steps are as follows:
1.Get Proxies: Click on "Get
Proxies" on the left side, as indicated in step ①.
2.Country/Region: Choose the corresponding
country based on your business needs. For example, if you need US proxy IPs,
select "United States" as shown in step ②. If precise
location targeting is not necessary, you can skip selecting
"State/City," and the exported IPs will be from any region in the
chosen country.
3.Proxy Server: Once you have selected the
country, IPWEB will automatically allocate a "Proxy Server" based on
your selection, as shown in step ③.
4.IP Duration: This refers to the maximum
usage time for the IP. Once the time is up, the IP will automatically change without
interrupting the network. Choose different IP durations according to your
business needs, as shown in step ④.
5.Proxy Quantity: Enter the number of proxy
accounts you wish to export, as shown in step ⑤. Note that the
maximum number of proxy accounts per export is 1000. If you need more proxy
accounts, please use IPWEB's "Self-encoded Proxy Accounts," which
offer greater convenience and flexibility. If you prefer using
"Self-encoded Proxy Accounts," it is recommended to export only one
proxy. You can generate an unlimited number of proxies based on this proxy.
6.Generate Proxies: After completing the
above steps, click on "Generate Proxies." You will download a txt
file containing the generated proxies, as shown in step ⑥.
7.Change Proxy Password: When you first
generate proxy accounts, you need to set a proxy password. This password is for
the proxy accounts you generate. Please note that if you change the password,
it will take about 1 minute to take effect. If there is any leakage or theft of
proxy information, please change the proxy password promptly.
II. Meaning of Exported Proxy Contents
After completing the first step, opening
the downloaded txt file will display some proxy information.
IPWEB strictly adheres to the SOCKS5/HTTP proxy
protocol. The format for SOCKS5/HTTP proxies (account-password mode) is as
follows:
Proxy Server (IP/Domain): Port: Proxy
Account: Password
Some proxy IPs may also provide this
arrangement: Proxy Account: Password: Proxy Server (IP/Domain): Port
Example:
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36307_US_
1474_10748_5_Ab000001:123456
Proxy server:gate1.ipweb.cc
port:7778
User ID:B_36307
Country Code:US
State code:1474
City code:10748
IP Duration (in minutes):5
SID:Ab000001
Proxy Password:123456
Proxy Protocol:Supports
both SOCKS5 and HTTP(S) protocols, no need to modify ports
For a more intuitive understanding, please
refer to the graphical explanation below:
To verify the proxy using the curl command:
curl -x
B_36424_US_1474_10748_5_Ab000001:123456@gate1.ipweb.cc:7778 ipinfo.io
III. How to Generate Proxies Using "Self-Encoded Proxy Accounts"?
"Self-Encoded
Proxy Accounts" refer to manually or programmatically generating proxy
accounts according to IPWEB's rules. Here's how you can do it:
1.To generate other
desired proxy IPs as shown above, you can modify the country code, state code,
and area code. However, the state code and area code are optional. For example:
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US___5_Ab000001:123456
Because these two items
are not mandatory, if you leave out the state code and area code, it means you
want to obtain a proxy IP from the specified country (without specifying a
state or area).
How to query country codes, state codes, and area codes? Log in to the IPWEB backend at http://user.ipweb.cc, click on "Help Center" on the left menu, then click on "Country/Area/City Codes" to query the codes corresponding to over 200 countries and nearly 20,000 cities worldwide.
2.Taking the above proxy as an example: gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US___5_Ab000001:123456
Suppose
you need to obtain a proxy IP from Hong Kong. In that case, you would change
"US" to "HK". The modified complete proxy IP information
would be as follows: gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_hk___5_Ab000001:123456
Similarly, if you wish to extend the validity period of the proxy IP from the original 5 minutes to 10 minutes, you would change "5" to "10". The modified complete proxy IP information would be as follows: gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_hk___10_Ab000001:123456
3、How to generate multiple proxies according to IPWEB's custom proxy
rules?
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US_1474_10748_5_Ab000001:123456
Taking this proxy as an example, you can
generate multiple proxies by modifying the SID, such as:
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US_1474_10748_5_Ab000001:123456
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US_1474_10748_5_Ab000002:123456
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US_1474_10748_5_Ab000003:123456
……
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_US_1474_10748_5_X9999999:123456
It is worth noting that the SID random code
can be modified to any 8-character combination, including uppercase letters,
lowercase letters, and numbers (special characters such as "@!%...*"
are not allowed).
By modifying the SID, theoretically, you
can generate an unlimited number of proxies. Of course, modifying the SID can
also achieve the effect of changing the IP address.
4.How to generate globally random proxies
according to IPWEB's "custom proxy accounts"?
In your actual usage, if you want to obtain
proxy IPs from any country worldwide, IPWEB refers to it as obtaining globally
random proxies. You can easily achieve this using IPWEB's "custom proxy
accounts". You just need to fill in the country code as "000" in
one place, indicating that the obtained proxy IP is a globally random proxy IP.
An example is shown below:
gate1.ipweb.cc:7778:B_36424_000___10_Ab000001:123456
4、How to choose a
proxy server?
IPweb currently has a large number of proxy servers deployed in three global
regions.
The Americas region (including South America and North America): gate1.ipweb.cc:7778
Asia-Pacific region (including Oceania): gate2.ipweb.cc:7778
Europe and Africa: gate3.ipweb.cc:7778
Consider choosing a proxy server based on
your own business needs and the region where your business servers are located.
It is recommended to use IPWEB's automatically allocated proxy servers, as this
can result in lower latency. Alternatively, you can consult with IPWEB's
technical support and customer service to select the best proxy server.
